Michelle's natural talent for planning and hosting events became her signature, and thus, she launched Michelle Paul Events in 2015 to share her passion. Michelle's dynamic and inviting personality makes the event planning process a true joy for clients, leaving them to enjoy all of the thoughtful details of their event.
Michelle approaches each event with an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring that your vision comes to life. Her experience ranges from large-scale events of up to 400 guests to intimate cocktail parties for 10. She has planned galas, weddings, multi-day conferences, launch parties, fundraiser cocktail parties, panels, staff retreats, baby showers, and more. Notably, the galas she has planned have increased revenue over prior years on average by 30%.
Previously, Michelle served as a Director of Development for both Girls Write Now and Teach For America Miami-Dade. In her career as a fundraiser, she has raised over $8M in funding. Michelle earned her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and her B.S. in Business Administration and Family, Youth and Community Sciences from the University of Florida.
Michelle lives in Harlem, New York. She is a yogi, self-proclaimed home chef, dog mom to a spunky Manchester Terrier, and a proud aunt. Check out her love for food and kids from a clip of ABC's The Chew where she guest judged a teen cooking competition.
