Throughout her career and personal life, Michelle's natural talent for planning and hosting events became her signature. Full of experience, knowledge, and party planning skills, she launched Michelle Paul Events to share her passion.
Prior to founding Michelle Paul Events, Michelle served as a Director of Development for both Girls Write Now and Teach For America Miami-Dade. In both roles she was charged with planning large-scale events of up to 350 guests to intimate cocktail parties for 10. She has experience planning galas and benefits, awards ceremonies, conferences for up to 200 attendees, bowling fundraisers, panels, marketing events, staff retreats, and other targeted fundraising events. The galas she has planned have increased revenue over prior years on average by 30%. In her career as a fundraiser, she has raised over $8M in funding.
Michelle earned her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and Family, Youth and Community Sciences from the University of Florida. She lives in Brooklyn, New York. She's a yogi, foodie, self-proclaimed home chef, and a proud aunt. Michelle recently guest judged a teen's cooking tournament on ABC's The Chew. Watch now!
